Editorial and Authorship Policy
Excellent Educator publishes editorial research summaries based on previously published, peer-reviewed scholarly articles. The journal does not claim ownership of original research findings and does not publish original empirical studies.
Summary Preparation
Research summaries are prepared using a structured editorial process that may include:
- Initial drafting supported by AI-assisted tools
- Careful manual review, editing, and refinement by the Editorial Team
- Verification of accuracy against the original published research
AI tools are used as assistive aids, not as authors. Editorial responsibility rests entirely with the journal.
Authorship Attribution
Authorship attribution follows these principles:
- Editorial summaries prepared internally are credited to the Excellent Educator Editorial Team.
For early issues up to Volume 3, Issue 1, individual editor names appear in authorship metadata to meet initial indexing and ISSN registration requirements. - Contributor-written summaries are credited to the named contributor, with editorial support acknowledged as appropriate.
- Editors are listed collectively on the Editorial Board page rather than repeated as individual authors across all summaries.
This approach ensures transparency, accountability, and appropriate recognition of intellectual contribution.
Responsibility and Citation
Each summary includes:
- Full citation of the original research article
- Clear distinction between the summary and the source study
- Suggested citation for the summary where applicable
The responsibility for interpretation and presentation lies with Excellent Educator, while intellectual credit for original findings remains with the original authors.
Transparency Statement
Excellent Educator is committed to ethical research communication, transparency in authorship, and responsible use of emerging technologies in academic publishing.
